Weekly digest

Weekly digest is the platform’s primary retention mechanism — a Friday-morning bilingual email summarising the week’s new editorial, coverage, opportunities closing soon, and notable events. Each user’s digest is filtered by their personalization signals; opt-out is one-click in the email footer.

Digest composition

• Section 1 — Closing this week: up to 5 opportunities with applicationDeadline ≤7 days. Pure urgency.
• Section 2 — New this week: editorial + coverage articles published in the last 7 days, prioritised by personalization signals.
• Section 3 — Coming up: events within the next 14 days the reader hasn’t already marked as "intend to attend".
• Section 4 — Founder file refresh: the current "file of the week" (rotating spotlight from the existing library).
• Plain-text footer: unsubscribe link + edit preferences link + the bilingual issue archive URL.
