Personalized recommendations

Personalization tailors the home + landing rails to each signed-in user — surfacing the events / opportunities / coverage most relevant to their country, stage, sector, and saved items. v1 is deliberately country-agnostic to encourage cross-ecosystem discovery; personalization layers on top without replacing the default.

Signals used

• Country signal: founder profile country + IP geolocation as fallback (with explicit "set your country" CTA).
• Stage signal: relatedStartupIds → startup stages aggregated. A founder with a seed-stage startup gets seed-relevant content prioritised.
• Sector signal: same aggregation logic but for the startups’ industries[] arrays.
• Engagement signal: viewed events / opportunities / coverage articles in the last 90 days. Decays over time.
• Saved signal: explicit signals from the saved-items library carry the highest weight.
