Showcase management

Showcase management — documentation pending.

Complete

Startup Showcase management is the admin surface for the platform’s startup directory. Admins create + verify startup records, attach Organization schema, link founders, and gate which startups qualify as "Showcased" (the editorial spotlight tier vs the long-tail directory).

Admin surfaces

  • /founder-account/admin/showcase — list of all startups. Filters: country, sector, stage, isShowcased (boolean), founderCount.
  • /founder-account/admin/showcase/new — create new startup. Required: name, slug, country, sector, stage, foundedDate, ≥1 founderId.
  • /founder-account/admin/showcase/:id/edit — full editor + cross-module reference pickers (founders, events, editorial, files, opportunities).
  • /founder-account/admin/showcase/:id/verification — dedicated verification gate. The 4 editorial verification gates from §9.2 are checklisted here.

The "Showcased" tier flip

isShowcased=true is the editorial spotlight tier. Showcased startups appear on the homepage, in newsletters, in cross-module rails ("Featured startups"). Non-Showcased startups still have full directory pages but don’t get spotlight placement. The flip is intentional + reviewed quarterly — admins propose Showcased candidates, editorial leadership signs off. Showcased status is not granted on request; it’s an editorial honor.
