Global Cyberattacks Hit Governments and Critical Systems in 37 Countries

A new analytical study from Unit 42 at Palo Alto Networks has revealed widespread cyber activity led by a group known as TGR-STA-1030. This group, suspected of having international ties, managed to breach government systems and critical infrastructure in 37 countries worldwide. This really highlights the increasing level of digital threats aimed at sovereign institutions.

According to the report, the scope of these breaches affects about one-fifth of the world's countries. This means that one out of every five countries experienced a high-risk cyber breach linked to this group last year. It shows a significant shift in how large-scale and organized these cross-border operations have become.
