Deloitte launched its Innovation Center in Cairo in 2023 with significant investment. This center has become one of the company's key regional hubs for providing advanced technological services to clients in Europe and the Middle East. The center offers a range of digital solutions, including artificial intelligence, data analytics, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, along with software engineering and development services. The center also aims to train and employ up to 5,000 Egyptian specialists. This is part of a strategy focused on leveraging local talent and transforming it into an export powerhouse in advanced technology fields. Ahmed Salem, Chief Operating Officer at Deloitte Innovation Center, mentioned that the company's experience in Egypt shows the local market's ability to build strong tech communities quickly. He explained that the center started in 2023 with just 25 specialists but has seen rapid growth over about two years and three months, driven by the rising global demand for digital skills. He pointed out that this growth reflects a mix of factors, most notably the diverse educational and technical backgrounds of Egyptian talent, along with a strong desire among young people for continuous learning and professional development. This all supports the vision of turning Cairo into a regional hub for innovation and high-value digital services.

Leading Digital Transformation for Public and Private Sectors

Alongside its expansion in Egypt, Deloitte also has a strong presence in Saudi Arabia through the Deloitte Digital Center in Riyadh's Digital City. This center is the first of its kind for the company in the region. It offers comprehensive digital transformation solutions, from strategy development all the way to implementation and operation. In 2024, the company also launched a Public Sector Innovation Center in collaboration with ServiceNow. This center focuses on developing digital workflows and improving the efficiency of government services, a move that reflects a growing trend towards digitizing government operations and boosting institutional performance.

Deloitte's centers in the region rely on an operating model that blends providing digital solutions with building human capabilities.
