Accenture has announced it's expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia by opening a global innovation center within its regional headquarters in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).
The center aims to be a strategic driver for corporate reinvention, helping clients adopt artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and build a future-ready workforce, all in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
This center is a pivotal point for fostering a collaborative environment, enabling Saudi companies to move from just testing AI to realizing its full value at scale. Through Accenture's global innovation network, the center provides practical access to emerging technologies and specialized solutions across various sectors.
It also serves as a platform for launching important sovereign initiatives, including collaborations with global companies like Microsoft, Google Cloud, and Oracle. The goal is to accelerate digital innovation by migrating critical workloads and empowering local entities to build and scale secure AI and cloud computing prototypes within the Kingdom.
This role was evident in Accenture's collaboration with the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), where the center helped accelerate advanced AI projects, moving them from the planning stage to actual production launch.
The center benefits from its strategic location in the King Abdullah Financial District, which hosts a world-class business ecosystem of leading local and international entities, along with advanced infrastructure. This makes KAFD a key platform for innovation and enhances its role in supporting the Kingdom's economic transformation.
The center's technical capabilities are complemented by Accenture LearnVantage, a global $1 billion investment aimed at enhancing AI-based skills. It provides comprehensive and customized learning journeys to upskill the workforce across the Kingdom.
To maximize its impact, Accenture is collaborating with global technology leaders like SAP and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer an integrated system of skills and certifications. This ensures global empowerment that aligns with market needs and national priorities.
