Internal links carry both ranking signal and reader value. The cross-module Related Ecosystem Signals component shipped 9-12 internal links per detail page — up from 3-5 pre-launch. That density is what makes the platform crawlable as a graph, not a flat tree.

Where internal links come from on a detail page

  1. Header navigation: 9 main nav items + utility bar = ~12 internal links.
  2. Breadcrumb: 2-4 internal links back up the hierarchy.
  3. Cross-module Related Signals: 3-6 high-relevance internal links.
  4. Same-module related-content: 3-4 internal links to similar entities.
  5. Footer columns: ~16 internal links + subscribe + legal links.
  6. Inline editorial mentions in article body: variable, expected.

Anchor text discipline

  • Anchor text is the human-readable entity name. NOT "click here", NOT "read more", NOT the URL itself.
  • Founder mentions inline use the founder’s display name (locale-aware). Startup mentions use the brand name.
  • Opportunity links use the opportunity title; event links use the event title.
  • NEVER over-optimize anchor text with keyword stuffing.
