Cross-Module Integration

Core concept

Core concept — documentation pending.

Complete

StartupHub.today is not seven independent modules — it is one connected ecosystem. Cross-module integration is the engine that makes every detail page navigable as a hub of the surrounding entity graph.

Three tiers of connection

T1 — Structural
Explicit foreign key. Founder → Startup. Coverage → Calendar Event. File → Sponsor. Strength: 100. Always rendered when present.
T2 — Editorial
Manual curation by an editor. Article mentions Founder X. Opportunity prepared by File Y. Strength: 80-95. Outranks all auto signals.
T3 — Contextual
Auto-derived from taxonomy. Same country + same sector + same stage. Strength: 30-70. Fills slots when T1/T2 do not cover.

What this refuses to be

  • Generic "You may also like" carousels.
  • Random "Related Content" sections that show whatever sits in the same category.
  • More than 6 signals on any single page (cognitive cap).
  • Filling space with weak T3 matches when T1/T2 do not exist (show nothing instead).
