Modules Documentation
Cross-module connections
Which other modules surface signals here and why.
Opportunity is the action-conversion destination for cross-module signals. Editorial articles + Founder Files + Founder Profiles all surface matching opportunities, while Calendar Events tied to opportunities (demo days, pitch nights) bring users back here too.
Outbound link palette (per strategy §2.A)
- Founder Files · max 2
- Highest priority. Files matching the opportunity type (e.g. accelerator → "Before You Ask for Funding"). Conversion: read-before-applying.
- Events Coverage · max 1
- If `opportunity.parent_event_id` is set (i.e. the opportunity was announced at an event), surface that coverage.
- Founder Profiles · max 2
- Founders matching the opportunity’s country + sector + stage_range. Drives "people like me" inspiration.
- Startup Showcase · max 2
- Startups eligible by sector + country + stage. Useful to see "who else might apply".
- Calendar Events · max 1
- Upcoming events in same sector + country within 90 days. Suppressed when status=closed.
- Editorial · max 1
- Articles tagged with same sector or opportunity_type.
Inbound surfacing
On Founder File reader pages, opportunities are the highest-priority cross-module signal (max 3). On Founder Profiles, matching opportunities surface as "Open programs for your stage". On Editorial articles about funding, opportunities surface as call-to-action signals. On Calendar Events, opportunities born from the event surface as "Programs announced here".
