User journeys

Common paths through the module.

Complete

Six discovery paths bring a user to a Founder Profile. The most strategic: from a startup page (T1 linked_founder), from an editorial article (T2 mentioned_in), from a search query that names the founder. Each path shapes what cross-module signals surface in the Related block.

Six discovery paths

  1. From listing with filters `/:lang/founders` with industry / stage / country / role filters. Pipeline-mode browsing.
  2. From a startup detail T1 linked_founder. Highest conversion intent — "who is behind X?"
  3. From an editorial article Article mentions a founder; the cross-module Related Signals card surfaces them.
  4. From an event details page Founder is listed as a speaker / judge / featured founder.
  5. From an opportunity "Founders matching this opportunity" surfaces founders in the same sector + stage + country.
  6. From search / social / direct link Highest cross-module conversion potential — the founder profile is the user’s entry point to the entire platform.

On-page flow

Hero (avatar + name + role + profile-status badge + Featured/Spotlight strip if elevated) → Snapshot sidecard (industry + stage + country + key dates) → About paragraphs → Highlights / Recognition → Linked Startup (full card) → Operating regions → Social links → Related Ecosystem Signals (matching opportunities, mentioning articles, sector files, similar founders) → Inline Signal CTA → footer.
