Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) has won €2 million in funding from the European Agency for Health and Digital Affairs (HADEA)! This funding is for a research project as part of a big European-African consortium. This group includes universities, research centers, and startups from both Europe and Africa, all working together on the 'GenAI For Africa' initiative to supercharge AI applications across the African continent. This fantastic funding came after a tough competition with 243 research proposals from over 40 countries, which really shows off EUI's excellence and its leading position in scientific research and modern digital technologies. This achievement highlights EUI's crucial role, both regionally and internationally, in areas like the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Artificial Intelligence, and digital services. It also strengthens the university's strategy for internationalization and global research collaboration.
