Tally Earns ISO 22301 Certification, Boosting Trust and Ensuring Smooth Digital Payments
In a move that highlights the growing importance of operational readiness and organizational resilience within the FinTech sector, Tally, a leading company enabling digital payments in Egypt, announced it has received the ISO 22301 certification for Business Continuity Management. This achievement comes from a collaboration with ZeroSploit, a company specializing in cybersecurity and operational resilience, according to a statement issued on January 25th. This international accreditation arrives at a time when the digital payments sector faces increasing challenges related to continuous service delivery, data protection, and maintaining customer trust. These elements have become crucial factors in the competitive evaluation of FinTech companies, rather than just operational requirements. The ISO 22301 standard provides a comprehensive global framework for business continuity management. It helps organizations identify their critical functions, analyze the impact of potential risks, and develop effective recovery and response plans. This includes human resources, operational processes, technological infrastructure, and reliance on third-party chains, all to ensure minimized downtime and sustained service delivery. In this context, Mohamed El-Odeisy, Head of Strategic Planning at Tally, emphasized that the partnership with ZeroSploit helped build an integrated business continuity system. This system focuses on protecting customer interests and enhancing the ability to foresee risks and respond quickly to crises. He noted that the certification reflects Tally's commitment to reliability and providing a stable, uninterrupted financial experience, even in the most complex scenarios. For his part, Ayman Yousry, CEO and Regional Director of ZeroSploit, explained that Tally's achievement of ISO 22301 certification demonstrates an advanced level of institutional maturity and operational readiness. He pointed out that the accreditation journey focused on building a practical business continuity management model that aligns with the nature of the FinTech sector, ensuring the protection of vital operations and the sustainability of services under various circumstances. He added that adopting international standards is no longer limited to regulatory compliance but has become a strategic tool for enhancing operational flexibility and building long-term trust with customers and partners. It is worth noting that Tally officially received the ISO 22301 certification in December 2025, following an implementation journey that began in December 2023. This journey included conducting comprehensive risk assessments, business impact analysis, testing multiple recovery scenarios, and establishing governance frameworks and response mechanisms, all in line with best practices and approved international standards.
