Cairo's First AI Everything Summit: Youth and Engineers Drive Digital Transformation
Cairo recently hosted its inaugural 'AI Everything' Summit, drawing a fantastic turnout, especially from young people. The event brought together both global and local companies to showcase cutting-edge solutions in Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, and cybersecurity.
Egypt's capital saw a huge turnout from young people, especially engineers and those passionate about Artificial Intelligence technology, at the first-ever "AI Everything" Middle East & Africa Egypt 2026 Summit and Exhibition. This event is considered the largest of its kind regionally and was held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The summit brought together over 250 startups and 100 investors from more than 30 countries, managing assets exceeding $50 billion. This really highlights Egypt's vital role as a hub on the global digital transformation map.
The summit comes at a strategic time, aligning with the state's efforts to build a competitive digital economy. It was organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in cooperation with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), all under the umbrella of global GITEX events. The event offered a fantastic platform for Egyptian startups to showcase innovative solutions targeting regional markets, while international companies presented their latest integrated smart systems, including AI applications that speak Arabic.
**Zoho Global: Supporting Secure AI in Egypt**
Global company "Zoho" announced its participation in this inaugural edition, showcasing its latest AI-powered solutions designed to automate processes, boost business efficiency, and support accurate decision-making. The company emphasized that its involvement reflects its commitment to fostering AI adoption in the Egyptian and regional markets, with a strong focus on protecting data privacy and avoiding reliance on profit-driven advertising models. Among its key offerings were the smart assistant "Zia," the large language model Zia LLM, Zia Agent Studio and Zia Hubs platforms, and Zoho CRM, Zoho Workplace, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Desk, and Zoho Creator solutions, all at booth H1-A15.

"e& Egypt" also took part in the summit's activities, hosting two discussion sessions titled "Operating AI at Scale – The Reality of Infrastructure." These sessions focused on the readiness of digital infrastructure to support AI applications, especially in emerging markets. Engineer Amr Fathy, CEO of the Technology and Information Sector at the company, highlighted the practical challenges of running AI systems at scale and the crucial role of networks and data centers in enabling these technologies.
**Microsoft: Boosting Digital Transformation and Leveraging AI**
Microsoft also announced its participation in the summit, following the appointment of Mohamed Kassem as its General Manager for Egypt. Their goal is to accelerate digital transformation and promote the adoption of cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence, and cybersecurity technologies. Kassem affirmed that Microsoft will work closely with customers and partners to foster digital innovation and create new opportunities for sustainable economic growth, continuing to drive Egypt's digital transformation journey with innovative and secure AI-powered solutions.
**Cybersecurity and Digital Transformation Solutions**
During the conference, "Fixed Solutions" showcased a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity solutions, hybrid cloud services, and AI-powered data analytics. They highlighted the importance of integrating advanced technologies with building a conscious security culture within organizations, emphasizing data quality and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
**Noventiq: Empowering Organizations for Competitive AI**
"Noventiq" presented integrated solutions for Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, and advanced data analytics, in partnership with Microsoft. Their aim is to support organizations in automating processes, improving operational efficiency, and securing their digital infrastructure. Noventiq underscored the critical role of technology as a fundamental pillar for driving economic growth and industrial transformation in the region.
