Canva and ChatGPT Team Up to Bring Your Brand Identity to AI Designs

In a new move that reflects the rapid transformation in the world of design and artificial intelligence, the American company Canva has announced the ability to integrate brand visual identity directly within AI assistants, especially ChatGPT. This feature allows companies to instantly transform text outputs into professional, ready-to-use designs without the need for manual adjustments, marking a significant leap in corporate design workflows.

This new integration addresses one of the main weaknesses of traditional AI tools: generic visual outputs that don't consider brand identity. Previously, this forced users to spend extra time reformatting and adjusting. With this addition, brand colors, fonts, and logos become an integral part of the creative process, ensuring fast production while maintaining visual consistency and corporate identity.

This development represents a practical merger between Canva and ChatGPT platforms. Users can now create presentations, social media posts, and posters that automatically align with the brand stored on Canva. This update follows a similar launch on Anthropic's Claude platform, further solidifying Canva's position as a fundamental visual layer within the global AI ecosystem.

Anwar Hanif, General Manager and Head of Ecosystem at Canva, noted that visual identity has always been the missing element in AI outputs. He emphasized that the company has successfully bridged this gap by bringing its design expertise to tools used by millions daily, seamlessly connecting text conversations with integrated visual outputs.

This integration reflects a broader shift expected by 2026, where organizations will move from relying on brand guidelines stored in static files to an integrated AI workflow that understands context and achieves high visual consistency, reducing time spent on formatting and increasing focus on innovation and customer communication.

For her part, Wendy Forsythe, Chief Marketing Officer at eXp Realty, stated that accessing brand kits within ChatGPT represents a game-changer in digital marketing. It allows agents to transform text commands into integrated visual designs within seconds, increasing production speed and fostering trust with clients.

This feature is available to users directly via canva.com/ai, with the option to link accounts to access brand kits, reinforcing Canva's vision of making visual identity a core part of the AI-powered future of work.
