The British Council recently hosted a two-day national workshop in Egypt, focusing on how to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into teaching, learning, and educational supervision. Around 150 teachers and supervisors from various governorates participated, alongside high-level government officials and representatives from international organizations. The workshop saw important attendees like Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Mark Bryson-Richardson, the UK Ambassador to Egypt. Also present were advisors from the Ministry, representatives from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and several leaders from public schools. This event created a fantastic platform to connect educational policies with classroom practices and new technologies, really highlighting AI's growing role in Egypt's education system.
