Module identity rules

The design system is shared. Each module keeps its own functional identity. Founder Files sets the maturity bar — the editorial-paper feel, the 3:4 cover with SVG fallback, the Best For block. Other modules borrow the visual maturity but adapt it to their function.

What is shared (the design system)

• The two anchors: purple + orange. No module gets a third brand color.
• The typography tokens: every heading uses `.t-*` classes.
• The badge formula: mono 11px CAPS 0.10em tracking.
• The section rhythm: `.cal-section` + mobile polish layer.
• The border-radius rule: `rounded-md` everywhere.
• The motion patterns: subtle, reduced-motion-aware, GPU-only.

What is module-specific (the functional identity)

Calendar · date-driven

Hero is a Signal Board. Cards show date blocks. Deadlines are first-class. 8 event-card variants encode the different temporal states.

Coverage · event-anchored

16:9 cover + "kind" chip (recap / analysis / highlights / pitch-result / sponsor-spotlight). Always anchors back to the parent event.

Founder Files · book-like

3:4 portrait cover with editorial SVG fallback. File numbers (#01-#NN). Sponsor mini-row. Download is the primary CTA. Sets the maturity bar.

Founder Profiles · person-led

Identity avatar + role + featured + profile-status badge stack (editorial / founder-led). Snapshot card with credentials.

Startup Showcase · brand-canvas

16:9 logo canvas + sector/stage/country chips + Verified badge. Founder linkage is featured at top of detail.

Opportunity Radar · status-tinted

Status strip across top of card colors the whole surface (open=green, closing-soon=orange, rolling=purple, closed=muted). Deadline pill inline.

Editorial · magazine-feel

Type eyebrow (news / analysis / commentary / interview / profile / guide). Title + dek + author + reading time. Long-form reading column at `max-w-3xl`.
