National Bank of Egypt and MSMEDA Partner Up to Boost SME Support and Entrepreneurship
Mohamed El-Etreby, CEO of the National Bank of Egypt, and Basel Rahmy, CEO of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement aims to strengthen the ties between Egypt's developmental and financial institutions and boost joint cooperation. The goal is to provide even more support to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), significantly enhancing the Egyptian economy's competitiveness. The signing ceremony was also attended by Soha El-Torky, Deputy CEO of the National Bank of Egypt; Nader Saad, Executive Head of SMEs at the National Bank of Egypt; Mohamed Medhat, Deputy CEO of MSMEDA; Dr. Raafat Abbas, Supervisor of Development Sectors at MSMEDA; Sameh Gweida, Head of Media at MSMEDA; and several other leaders from both the bank and the agency.
