Zerotech Systems has signed a joint cooperation agreement with Schneider Electric and the Electronics Factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization. The main goal is to locally assemble and manufacture data center units within Egypt. This exciting move will really help boost the country's digital infrastructure and accelerate its digital transformation journey.
Dr. Atef Abu Hashem, Chairman of Zerotech's Board of Directors, shared that this agreement aims to meet the growing needs of national projects and get the Egyptian market ready to embrace advanced data center solutions. They're doing this through a smart local model that brings together Egypt's manufacturing capabilities, the local partner's operational know-how, and the global company's technical expertise.
The signing ceremony was a notable event, attended by Major General Engineer Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Electronics Factory at the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Dr. Atef Abu Hashem, and Sebastian Reyes, President of Schneider Electric.
Abu Hashem further explained that this project is all about rolling out digital transformation systems and making technological infrastructure more efficient. This is especially important with the increasing demand for data center solutions in critical sectors. These sectors need reliable equipment, stable supply chains, and the ability to assemble locally to cut down delivery times and be more flexible in meeting various project needs.
This collaboration is a fantastic example of a partnership between local and international players. It blends global technical knowledge with national manufacturing capabilities, which really strengthens Egypt's ability to handle its digital transformation needs right at home. It also puts Egypt in a much stronger position on the regional map for technological infrastructure.
