Aman Holding, a FinTech company within Raya Holding's portfolio, has teamed up with Raya by FutureTECH, Raya Group's startup accelerator. They've announced an exciting new partnership with the American University in Cairo's (AUC) Venture Lab. This collaboration aims to boost Egypt's entrepreneurship ecosystem and supercharge the growth of local startups.
The partnership's goal is to empower startups in various sectors like technology, digital and financial solutions, retail, consumer services, and supply chain and logistics. They'll do this by creating a supportive environment that helps these companies grow faster and develop scalable business models.
This initiative will connect entrepreneurs with the institutional, operational, and technological expertise of Raya and Aman Holding. Plus, they'll benefit from the academic knowledge and networking opportunities offered by AUC Venture Lab, all working together to build a complete system for innovation.
Participating startups will also get access to technical guidance and mentorship, helping them become more ready for investment. The partnership will also support them in reaching new markets and open doors for potential collaborations with other companies in Raya Holding's portfolio.
The collaboration kicked off with an introductory session where several startups met with Aman Holding's leaders. During this session, they showcased the latest digital financial solutions and technologies, and discussed opportunities for technical support, development, and mentorship, all aimed at helping these companies expand and grow.
Eng. Mohamed Wahby, Co-CEO of Products and Technology at Aman Holding, emphasized that this partnership truly shows the company's dedication to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in Egypt. It's all about helping develop tech solutions that can keep up with digital transformation and boost the national economy.
He added that this collaboration will help create a new generation of investment-ready startups by bringing together academic expertise and market opportunities. This will empower entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into projects that can truly grow and scale.
On his part, Dr. Ayman Ismail, Founding Director of AUC Venture Lab, highlighted that partnering with Raya Holding reflects the incubator's commitment to supporting entrepreneurs. It provides real opportunities for them to connect with leading companies in the market, which in turn helps them grow and get ready for investment.
The participating parties concluded by saying that this collaboration is a significant step towards bridging the gap between entrepreneurship and the business sector. It will also boost the innovation ecosystem and the digital economy in Egypt in the coming phase.
