Talabat, the leading online ordering and delivery platform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, has announced the continued expansion of its Talabat Kitchen network. This cloud kitchen ecosystem is designed with a partner-centric model, aiming to boost restaurant growth, enhance operational efficiency, and bring brands closer to customers across various markets in the region. Since its launch in 2020, Talabat Kitchen has grown into one of the largest multi-market cloud kitchen networks in the region. The network currently operates over 30 kitchens in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan, with exciting plans to reach 50 kitchens within the next three years. These expansion plans highlight the network's growing role in supporting the local food and beverage sector and broadening partnerships. Talabat aims to fulfill 10% of all food orders in emerging markets through its network within the same timeframe. Owais Malik, General Manager of Talabat Kitchen in the region, shared that the platform aims to achieve two important goals simultaneously: faster delivery for customers and empowering restaurant partners to achieve more flexible and stronger growth in terms of operational profits. He added, "We don't own the brands; instead, we empower them to grow by providing proximity to customers, smart and flexible data management, and operational leverage on the widest possible scale."
