ITI and Google Launch 'Build with AI: Masr Edition' to Empower Egyptian Developers in AI

The Information Technology Institute (ITI) has announced a brand new initiative called "Build with AI: Masr Edition." This program, in collaboration with Google, aims to equip developers in Egypt with advanced practical skills in artificial intelligence. It's all part of ITI's strategy to boost digital skills and keep pace with the rapid changes in the tech job market. This initiative focuses on practical training, not just theory. Participants will get to build real projects using the latest AI tools like Gemini, Vertex AI, and Gemma. The program is split into two main tracks: * **Foundations Track:** This is for students and beginners, starting from scratch on the Google Cloud platform, with a focus on applying AI to build initial applications. * **Advanced Track:** Designed for professional developers, this track focuses on designing sophisticated AI systems based on Scalable Pipelines, explaining how to launch projects professionally and comprehensively.

Hands-on Training

The initiative includes weekly online workshops over 4 weeks, led by Google Developers Experts (GDEs) from across the Middle East and North Africa. Participants will also receive Google Cloud credits to apply what they've learned at no cost, making it easier to move from theoretical learning to actual practical implementation.

Strategic Goals

This initiative aims to attract over 5,000 developers in Egypt, a step towards building a vibrant tech community that fosters innovation and creativity. Experts at ITI emphasize that such programs are vital for keeping up with rapid digital transformations, especially given the growing demand for practical AI skills in both local and global markets. The program kicks off on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 3:00 PM Cairo time. To participate, you'll need a laptop, a stable internet connection, and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of artificial intelligence.
