The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) is really stepping up its game to boost the small business sector and help it contribute more to Egypt's overall economic growth. They've launched a series of field visits to industrial zones and production hubs all across the country. The goal? To support industrial and productive projects and help them get their affairs in order so they can benefit from the incentives and advantages outlined in the SME Development Law No. 152 of 2020.
Basil Rahmy, MSMEDA's CEO, has directed the agency's branches in all governorates to carry out these field visits. They're going directly to industrial areas and clusters to understand the real-world needs of business owners and to introduce them to the services MSMEDA offers to support their development and expansion.
Rahmy explained that these visits aim to make businesses more stable and help them grow. MSMEDA is also working closely with various relevant bodies within these industrial zones to ensure everyone is collaborating and providing the best support for local industries.
He added that the visits have covered various industrial and production clusters in the governorates. The main idea is to empower business owners to improve their products, making sure they meet quality standards for both local and international markets. This, in turn, will open up exciting new marketing opportunities for these products.
