As Egypt continues its strong push towards digital transformation and building a generation ready for the knowledge economy, the second edition of the third Egyptian Championship for the Arab AI Olympiad truly highlights that investing in young minds is now one of the most crucial paths for development in Egypt, especially in governorates outside the main urban centers. Luxor National University proudly hosted the championship events on April 18th, welcoming 100 male and female students from various Upper Egypt governorates. This turnout really shows how interest in modern technology is growing beyond Cairo and other major cities, and it reflects the commitment of educational institutions to involve students in competitive environments focused on innovation and practical application. The championship is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, with several scientific and cultural bodies participating, including Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Alamein International University, and the Robotics Technology and Talented Care Association. This collaboration really demonstrates a strong integration between state institutions, universities, and civil society, all working together to build a supportive ecosystem for technological innovation.
